Dear Parents and Caregivers,

Term 3 Reception Students

This week we held our first Transition Day for our Term 3 intake of Reception students. Eight children joined us for their first taste of what 'big school' is really like. While these children were spending time in the Reception classes their parents spent time together with Rita Campbell and myself to learn about what school means for them as parents. 

Stewardship Reflection 

“Because there is one bread, we who are many are one body, for we all partake of the one bread.” 1 CORINTHIANS 10:17 
As disciples of Jesus, we are called to lead holy lives and invite others to join us.  Living a stewardship lifestyle, being grateful and generous with our gifts, serves a double purpose.  1. it helps build God’s kingdom here on earth. 2.  it helps us strengthen each other’s relationship with God the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit.  It becomes our roadmap to Heaven.  We pray that we answer God’s call to build his kingdom on earth and help each other get to Heaven! 

In Year 1 Red, the children have been learning to recognise and classify familiar 2D shapes.
They have learnt about the geometric features and how to describe shapes and objects using everyday words such as; corner, edges and faces.

Hello TWCS families,

At last nights P&F meeting, the decision was made to go ahead with this years Father's Day Stall.  The gifts purchased from the Mother's Day stall which we weren't able to have, will be transferred to next years Mother's day stall.  So in saying that,  this years Father's Day stall will be held on the 4th September 2020. We will be calling out for volunteers closer to the date to help with wrapping the gifts.
