Stewardship Reflection

“We know that all things work for good for those who love God, who are called according to their purpose.” - ROMANS 8:28 Do you really trust God? Do you really believe that God will provide all that you need? Faith is a challenge for everyone at times. Putting our trust in God, in everything we do, in good times and in bad, means that God’s plan for our lives may be quite different than what we planned. When one door closes, another one opens. Trust in God, His plan is always better. We pray that we learn to put our trust in God in everything we do.

Dealing with Disappointment

I would like to share this parent information that forms part of the Primary Years What's the Buzz? Program. The topic of dealing with disappointment is a common discussion with parents when it comes to the emotional wellbeing of children. The following information is very useful for parents when thinking about disappointment with their children and how to talk to your children about disappointment.

All of our classes across the school provide Learning Intentions and Success Criteria for all Literacy and Maths learning activities and are now developing them for a variety of additional curriculum areas.

SACPSSA Netball Carnival

Yesterday all the students from Year 3 to 6 attended the SACPSSA Netball Carnival as the culmination of their learning in PE over last term. The students demonstrated outstanding sportsmanship and determination in all of the games they played. It was great to see the students apply the learning from PE into game situations throughout the carnival. The students displayed the Character Strengths of Teamwork, Zest, Fairness, Leadership, Bravery and Perseverance. For many students attending the carnival and playing games of netball put them out of their comfort zone so many students consistently displayed a Growth Mindset.

Hello TWCS Families,

It's very exciting, the Fathers Day gifts have arrived!!  This years Fathers Day stall will be help on the 4th September 2020. We will be calling out for volunteers closer the date to help with wrapping the gifts.  The wrapping will be held on Wednesday 2nd September 2020.  You will be able to purchase as many gifts as you like.  Purchases will need to be made on the Qkr app which will go live on Tuesday 18 August.
