Inspiring Excellence 2020


Congratulations to the following students who received an 'Inspiring Excellence' award for their commitment for displaying dedication to their learning, endeavouring to improve an area of challenge and exhitbiting many of the character strengths or espousing a sprituality aligned to St Mary of the Cross MacKillop and Fr Julian Tenison Woods.

Reception - Grace, Year 1 - Annika, Year 2 - Mira, Year 3 - William, Year 4 - Marissa, Year 5 - Nathaniel, Year 6 - Abigail.

Annika was the recipient of the Hindmarsh Award voted by staff for her overall commitment to learning.

Capturing the Spirit Awards 2020


The Capturing the Spirit awards are presented to two graduating students who throughout their time at Tenison Woods have reflected the Tenison Ten and the Josephite traditions along with the spirit of Fr Julian Tenison Woods and St Mary of the Cross MacKillop.

Fresh look at Australia's first Saint


To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the canonisation of St Mary of the Cross MacKillop 4 year 6 students, Ruby, Olivia, Amiel and Rose have produced their own unique visual interpretations of St Mary of the Cross MacKillop.

Today we welcomed Fr Philip Marshall and Bruno Vieceli to announce the unprecedented move, that the South Australian Commission for Catholic Schools (SACCS) will reduce school fees at every Catholic parish primary school in the state in 2021.

Just Leadership Day


Our Year 6 students joined other Catholic schools at the Adelaide Cathedral Hall in Wakefield St. 

These school leaders participated in a Just Leadership Day facilitated by Suzy Penberthy from Caritas Australia.  They learnt about and spoke about their hopes for the future, global influences on these hopes and those in the world who don't have the power to change their circumstances.
