SACA Cricket Clinics
Over the past two weeks all classes across the school have been involved in cricket clinics facilitated by the South Australian Cricket Association as part of the grant the school received from the Sporting Schools Program. During these clinics the students have been learning and practicing the fundamental cricket skills of throwing, hitting, catching and bowling through a variety of different cricket based games. Each class will be involved in another two sessions as they begin to move into more cricket games based activities. The students have thoroughly enjoyed these clinics and it could be the start of the journey towards wearing the 'baggy green' for Australia.

Master Blaster Cricket
This term we have one cricket team entered into the Woodville South Master Blaster Cricket competition that plays every Saturday morning at Woodville South Oval. So far this season the team have played two games and are yet to record a win but there has been some significant improvement in all of the batting, bowling and fielding from each player. The standout player from round 1 was William Ramazan  and last week it was Jaxon Smith. I would like to thank Matthew Arentz for volunteering his time to coach/manage this team this term. I look forward to sharing my highlights from their season throughout this term.
