3/4T Class News

21.02.19

The start to 2019 has been very busy for the Year 3/4 T students. The main focus of our learning in the first few weeks was all based around the personal identity question of ‘Who Are You?’ The students have explored their Character Strengths in their Learning to Flourish books and completed a Half Face Portrait in Art.

In Maths so far this term the students have been investigating the properties of odd and even numbers and practiced building numbers up to 10,000. The students have thoroughly enjoyed the number of different dice and card games that allow them to build their number knowledge.

In Art, the students have begun to explore different styles of art and have begun with Pop Art as their focus. They have had an opportunity to try and replicate their favourite piece of Pop Art and in the coming weeks will create their own.

The highlight of the beginning of the year has most certainly been the SACA Cricket Clinics. The students have enjoyed the opportunity to develop their catching, throwing, hitting and bowling skills in different cricket based games.
