The P&F are excited to announce the purchase of new soccer goals and balls for the oval. Delivery is expected soon.
Our Welcome BBQ held last Friday, the 15th of February, was a great success. It was fantastic to see so many of our new families, ‘existing’ families and staff attending. Many of our new families said they found it was a great introduction to the TWCS community and a chance to meet other families. Congratulations to the Lopez Family for winning our $200 Jump First Castle door prize.

Thank you also to Anna Pivato who acted as First Aid Officer on the night as well as her help leading up to the night. A big thank you to Woolworths for their generous donation of a gift voucher to use for purchasing supplies; to West Torrens Library for allowing us use of the giant games; and to Nazareth for the use, once again, of their BBQ trailer.
The P&F will be providing pancakes for every child for recess, on Shrove Tuesday, 5th of March. We are seeking volunteers (who have a Catholic Police Clearance and a registered volunteer) to cook pancakes from around 9:30am (following Carnevale Parade). Please email the P&F if you are able to assist or if your child has any dietary requirements.
Class Reps have also been appointed for each class and will be in touch soon. We hope to have some class based social activities as well as another Parent Night this year.
As announced previously the P&F Committee will be hosting the Carly Ryan Foundation next term, on Tuesday the 7th of May 2019, for a Parent information session . We have since been able to secure a ‘school hours’ session for our year 5 and 6 students earlier in the day. More information regarding the event will be released later in the term.
At our last P&F meeting it was fantastic to see so many new faces and people taking up the roles delared vacant. I am pleased to announce our new Chairperson is Vinny Maresca, the Secretary position will be shared by Bianca Ayres and Karen Bilney and Treasurer is Bozena Rowinska.
We welcome the following new members to the committee: Tenille White, Stella and Chris Chubb, Genevieve Walles-Pelekani, Michelle Brodie, Mel Bond, Katherine Wotherspoon and Bozena Rowinska. New members are always welcome.

Jess Rainsford, who finishes up as Secretary after 2 years, her organisation, generosity with her time, has not only made my role easier, but has lead to many succesful events.
Shailee Sharma leaves the Treasurer position, after taking over from Louise Viergever during 2018. Thank you to Shailee for taking on this position and for her work in this role.
Personally I wish to thank everyone for their assistance over the last two years in my tenure as Chairperson of the P&F. Tenison Woods really is a fantastic school with generous and supportive families and staff. We are fortunate to have state of the art resources and cutting edge teaching practices combined with strong parental involvement. I wish our new Executive Committee all the best in their roles and ask for your continued support of the P&F Committee.
