On Friday 20th September we welcomed the return of Fr Peter as the celebrant for our Reception 'G' class Mass. The final class Mass for Term 3 will be held this Friday 27th September, with our Year 3/4 class celebrating the Feast of St Vincent de Paul at 9:00am in St Aloysius Church.
Saint Vincent de Paul expressed his compassion for the poor and his mission to extend the support of the Church inspired people to join him and to share their wealth to provide improved health, education and an understanding of the Gospel. We pray for all those associated with the St Vincent de Paul Society. May this week’s feast of their patron saint encourage them in their service of the poor.
On Saturday 14th September, Matthew and Riley received their First Holy Communion. The Communicants were surrounded by the support of family, friends and parishioners. In receiving the Eucharist, Matthew and Riley are now fully initiated members of the Church and are able to invite this special bond with Jesus each week as they attend Mass. Congratulations Matthew, Riley, Jameson, Matilda, Abby and Anna on your parish sacramental journeys this year.
Information regarding the 2020 Brooklyn Park and Richmond Parish Sacramental Program will be available at the Term 1 Parent Information Night. If you have any questions regarding the program, please forward an email to mharrison@twcs.catholic.edu.au.
