Stewardship Reflection

“We know that all things work for good for those who love God, who are called according to their purpose.” - ROMANS 8:28 Do you really trust God? Do you really believe that God will provide all that you need? Faith is a challenge for everyone at times. Putting our trust in God, in everything we do, in good times and in bad, means that God’s plan for our lives may be quite different than what we planned. When one door closes, another one opens. Trust in God, His plan is always better. We pray that we learn to put our trust in God in everything we do.

Green Team Initiatives

As a catholic community, we are asked to be attuned to the principles of Social and Environmental Justice, and as individuals we are asked to be committed to carrying out those principles.
We must become a Laudato Si Community. I encourage everyone who can do so to read Laudato Si. It is available online, or you can buy a hard copy.

At TWCS we pledge to be Plastic Free in August, we endeavour to reduce our reliance on plastic. Collect all the soft plastic in your house and take it to the Red Bin collection point at the supermarket. Try not to buy any more soft plastic wrap.  Use containers to store food instead. If you get your bread in a plastic bag, use that plastic bag again for something else, several times, before you discard it. Make and use fabric bags and take them to the greengrocer for your fresh vegetables and fruit. Any plastic wrappers brought to school will be sent back home in children's lunchboxes.
Reusable lunch order bags are also available at Stickybeaks website.
