On Friday 4 September all of the Year 3 to 6 students will be attending the SACPSSA Touch Football Carnival. The students will be competing against teams from a number of different Catholic Schools around South Australia. The students have been learning the basic skills of passing, running with the ball and the rules of the game during PE. This carnival will be a culmination of the learning that has taken place during PE lessons and like the Netball Carnival will be a great opportunity for the students to demonstrate their newly learnt skills in a game situation. Unfortunately due to COVID-19 restrictions parent spectatorS will not be allowed to attend the carnival this year. Please make sure if your child is in Year 3 to 6 that you complete the QKR permission form asap.
If your child is in Reception to Year 3 and is interested in playing Master Blaster Cricket on Saturday mornings for the school there will be registration notes coming home to your child within the next week. Please note those students who played in Term 1 do not need to reregister.
Nominations for Term 4 Basketball will also be distributed in the next week so please keep a look out for these nomination forms if your child is interested in playing mid week basketball for the school.
