Last Monday 17th August the staff worked with our colleagues from St Joseph's Kingswood and our Visible Learning leader, Lyn Coote. We spent time developing authentic assessment activities, using SOLO Taxonomy, that would help our students develop surface knowledge, deeper knowledge and to be able to transfer that knowledge to new situations. It was a very productive day for all of us and it was great to share our learning with another community of educators also committed to developing students to become assessment capable learners.
