SACPSSA Touch Football Carnival

Throughout Term 3, the students in Years 3 to 6 have been familiarising themselves with the rules, skills, movements and strategies associated with modified touch football, in preparation for a Physical Education excursion to a SACPSSA Touch Football Carnival.

On Friday 4th of September, 70 students from Years 3 - 6 divided into 9 teams and with the help of an adult supervisor, each team threw themselves into the learning pit calling on the character strengths of courage and teamwork.  We are very proud of all our students for the way they supported each other on the field and also the way in which they represented our Tenison Woods Catholic School community as a whole.

I would like to especially thank our parent volunteers Bianca, Charmain, Vik, Shailee, Tanya, Andrew as well as my colleagues Heather, Lucia and Gaby, for their care, organisation and guidance as a team supervisors throughout the carnival.  It is because of the overwhelming community support we receive, that we are able to offer our students  excursions and memorable experiences such as this. Congratulations everyone and thank you.
