Visible Learning

23.10.20

On Tuesday and Wednesday this week, our Leadership team met with the team from St Joseph's Kingswood and our Corwin Educator Lyn Coote.
Tuesday was out third 'Evidence in to Action' session.

We looked at our Visible Learning journey over the past 2 years, noting our successes and challenges.  Next we decided where we needed to go moving forward to give our students the best learning experiences possible. Our next step is to create a new aspirational statement with the staff and make sure we have a shared vision of Visible Learning at TWCS  for 2021.

On Wednesday Tom and I participated in our second 'Impact Coaching' training session.
Our Learning Intention for the day was to learn about what coaches need to know, be and do to support professional learning of staff to ensure better learning outcomes for our students.
We practiced the skills requires to coach staff by coaching each other through a variety of real life situations.

The two days were very affirming of the Visible Learning practices we have in place and inspired us to continue to further develop our practices and skills.
