Master Blaster cricket has begun each Saturday morning at Woodville South Oval. This term Tenison Woods has one team in the competition played their first game last Saturday. Thank you to Yashmeet Sandhu for coaching the two teams this term.

Standout Performer: Carter 20 runs

Round 2:

Term 4 Basketball:

This term we have 5 basketball teams competing in the mid week competition at Wayville Basketball Stadium. We have two R/1 teams, a Year 2 team, a Year 3/4 girls team and a Year 3/4 boy's team. Last week was the first round for these teams and from all accounts the students have thoroughly enjoyed the games so far with some scoring points for their teams. I would like to thank, Becc Hemmings, Catherine Rowe, Lori Maresca, Lee Wearn and Sam Sneath for volunteering their time to coach and manage these teams. I look forward to sharing with you more highlights from the Term 4 Basketball season.

Tri Skills Gymnastics Incursion Program

Starting next Tuesday the students will be involved in the Tri Skills Gymnastics program. This will be a 5 week program with a weekly incursion for all of the classes. This gymnastics program is an enjoyable, carefully sequenced progression of lessons that develops each student's ability to enjoy and perform movement sequences combining effort, space, objects and people. The program is directly linked with the Australian HPE Curriculum and will be assessed as part of PE and will count towards the student’s semester 2 report. This program is fully funded through the Sport School Grant Funding.
