Term 4 has been a very productive term for all. We have been engaging in learning across all areas of the curriculum. In Science & Maths we have looked at the weather, collected daily data about the weather and each day noticed the changes that were taking place in the sky and on the land. The students are now able to describe the weather and make predictions about the weather.

This Semester during play-based learning we have introduced a hairdressing salon, a restaurant/café and a construction work station to our learning space.  In the Early Years, children are naturally motivated to use play as a context for learning. Through play, children explore, make connections to prior learning, discover new learning, hypothesise, predict and test theories. They learn how to interact with others, problem solve and self-regulate their emotions. The children have enjoyed the opportunity to learn these skills in these play areas and look forward to commencing their day in one of these learning areas.

We’ve had so much fun participating in Sports Day, Life Be In It and our School Disco. It’s days like these that students will remember for a long time.
