In All things Love

May the Sacred Heart of Jesus fill you all with love,

That you may burn and glow with it more and more.”

Fr Julian Tenison Woods 1879

Feast of St Aloysius - Feast Day June 21st

St. Aloysius was born in Castiglione, Italy. He is the Patron Saint of students and young people.

When he was 18, he joined the Jesuits, after finally convincing his father, who had refused his entrance into the order.  Aloysius volunteered to care for the sick and dying at a Jesuit hospital when a plague broke out in Rome. Shortly before his ordination, he contracted the disease himself and died at age 23.

On Friday 25th June, the Year 3-6 children will be celebrating Mass at St Aloysius Church at 9am.

You are welcome to join us.

Parish Event - Feast of St Aloysius

A Sausage Sizzle will be held following the 11:00am Mass at Richmond on Sunday the 20th of June. All parishioners are invited to attend.  Those who have attended the 11:00am Mass will have scanned in via the QR code or have completed their details in the register. Those who are attending the Sausage Sizzle but haven’t attended the 11:00am Mass will need to scan in or register on site. COVID Marshals will be available to assist.

We look forward to seeing as many parishioners as possible in attendance to celebrate this important

day in our parish.

Catholic Identity alive at our school

Last week the R-2 Children attended our Parish Mass to celebrate the Feast of the Sacred Heart.  We were reminded about the love that Jesus has for us and that St Mary MacKillop chose to name her order  - The Sisters of St Joseph of the Sacred Heart.  One of our students Nellie created this artwork as a response to this Mass.

"The Sacred Heart is shining in the sky - The cross are the colours of the sacred heart

Creation is what God loves and the light is shining on all of us."

Hearts on Fire 😊
