This term we welcome two new students to our R/1 Blue Family, Ollie and Eli.
This term in art we are focusing on the artist ‘Piet Mondrian’. The students have used his Composition ll with Red, Blue and Yellow as inspiration to create artworks using different mediums, paper, crayons, paint and Lego.
The children love being creative and telling stories. We have begun constructing narratives, unpacking the structure of an orientation and using adjectives to describe characters and settings.
The start of our stories….
Oliver- One dark stormy night, there lived a person. His name was Oliver. He lived in a house, until….. FLASH, CRASH, BASH, BOOM!!!!
Jewel- One sunny day, there was a butterfly. She lived in a forest. But….Flash, there was lightning.
Isabelle- Once upon a time, there was a baby bird. She couldn’t fly. They lived high up in a tree.
Lottie- Once upon a time, there was a fairy. She lived in a magical place.
Jack- A long time ago, there was a tiny baby ladybug. He lived in a beautiful school garden. Sadly, he was unable to fly. BOOM, CRASH, BANG.
Emily- A long time ago, in a faraway place, there was a crystal fairy with her little pet dog. They lived in a big tree.
Eli- A long time ago, in the 1950s, there was an alien. He was driving his spacecraft in space. Then, Crash!!!
Harvey- Once upon a time, there was a young boy called Harvey. He lived in a house. FLASH, CRASH, BASH, BOOM!!
Armando- One dark stormy night, there lived a young boy called Armando. He loved school and learning lots. DRIP. DRIP. DROP. A big thing DROPS.
Elijah- One day there was a guy. He lived in a camp. He loved searching for dinosaurs.
Elliot- One dark stormy night, there was a little boy, Elliot. He lived in a house. Crash, bang, boom, smash, kapoow.
Isabella- Once upon a time, there was a girl named Isabella. Isabella lived on a ship. There was a storm. Boom, crash, bam.
Sabina- One rainy day, there was a night light unicorn. She lived in a magical land.
Riya- One sunny day, there was a fairy. She lived in the woods.
Jaiden- One dark stormy night, there was a happy pirate. He lived in a big metal ship on the ocean. Flash, Crash, Boom.
Victoria- Once upon a time, there was a princess who lived in a castle.
Ruby- In a faraway land there was a fairy. She lived in a forest. There was a big problem.
Xavier- A long time ago, in a faraway land, there was a prince. The prince was lonely. He lived in a giant castle.
