Message from the Principal

Dear Families,

This week is National Families Week and so I would like to quote Dr Brian Babington, Chief Executive Officer of Families Australia. He says that:

"Families are society's most important building block. Strong families equate to strong communities because they embody caring for others, connectedness with people, and providing hope, support and comfort."

Reception Gold Class News

It has been a very exciting start to Term 2 with Reception Gold students attending a week of swimming lessons at iSwim, Immanuel College.

Leader of Learning

Over the last two weeks the Year 3 and Year 5 students have participated in the National Assessment Program – Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN) testing.

Sports News

SACPSSA Netball Carnival and Sport Schools Netball Clinics:

Throughout this term, the students in Years 3 to 6 will be familiarising themselves and learning the rules, skills, movements and strategies associated with netball, in preparation for a Physical Education excursion to a SACPSSA Netball Carnival in week 10. At this carnival we will have 11 teams across the four year levels competing against students from a variety of different Catholic schools across South Australia.

Regarding our Catholic faith, do you “walk the talk?” Do your actions reflect what it means to be a good disciple? Are you an active participant in your faith? Are you joyful when participating in parish ministry? Do you give gratefully and generously with Vinnies or Catholic Mission? It is not too late to start! We pray that are daily actions reflect our goal of good discipleship.

Hello TWCS Families,

This week is National Volunteers' week where we celebrate and thank volunteers within our community. I would like to express my gratitude to all the volunteers that help the staff make the TWCS community all that it is. Our children are very lucky!

If you have any time to help at upcoming events, or have any suggestions or feedback, please contact us via email, or attend our next meeting (below). We would love to see some new faces.

Need Pavers?

We have approximately 30sqm of pavers to give away! If you would like them please let us know, Gary has offered to lend a hand if required. Need to be removed by Friday, 28 May 2021.
