News & Events

Communication with our families is an important part of life at Tenison Woods.

The newsletter contains important information about events at school and is sent via Skoolbag to families in Week 2 and Week 8 of each Term. The eNewsletter is also available to view on the School website.

Each class teacher communicates regularly to their parent community using various ways of digital mediums including Seesaw and Skoolbag.

Our school facebook page shares news items and upcoming events.

The Southern Cross Newspaper

The Southern Cross newspaper features all the latest news, information and updates from our wider South Australian Catholic Community.

Assemblies and Liturgies

We gather twice a term to pray, celebrate student learning and to share gifts, talents and successes as well as general news.  Our Assemblies are uplifting events, and allow you to see not just what our students do, but how much they enjoyed doing it.

Class and school Liturgies/Masses are held regularly. These are times for us to pray and celebrate our relationship with each other and with our God.

For the dates on the next assembly or liturgy, please contact the School Office alternatively visit our Latest Events and Calendar page.

Parent Information Sessions

Staff regularly communicate with parents about student development through student work books, emails, formal and informal interviews. At the beginning of each year parents/caregivers meet with class teachers to share hopes and expectations.

Written Reports on your child’s progress is sent home towards the end of Terms 2 and 4. Formal parent/teacher conversations are conducted at the end of Terms 1 and 3. Parents are encouraged to maintain communication with teachers through either a personal appointment or email.
